'World of Owls & Wildlife Rescue NI' Educational Visits

World of Owls is an environmental and conservation organisation providing education based on owls, birds of prey and Exotic Animals worldwide.
Wildlife Rescue is Northern Irelands first voluntary wildlife advice service.

The World of Owls & Wildlife Rescue Northern Ireland can provide any occasion with a visit by the display team. The objective of these visits are to familiarise the public with the problems faced world wide and at home with conservation biodiversity and re-habitation along with introducing them in a fun and friendly manner to the countryside around us. Additionally the visits cater for all levels of learning abilities, education officers have a way of ranging the talks to suit all levels of understanding in a very entertaining manner.

You can be given an opportunity to meet some of the birds and animals rescued by the 'World of Owls & Wildlife Rescue N.I.'. This includes some of the very popular owls, birds of prey and exotic creatures that have became favourites of over 2000 visits attended to date.

Thanks to the 'Harry Potter' phenomenon, the owls are fascinating and are, in every sense, real 'head turners'. Their diminishing numbers in the wild graphically illustrates the damage caused by a loss of habitat and underlines to the public the urgent need for conservation.

These visits provide a unique opportunity for the public to meet the animals, learn about their needs and ask those all-important questions. Educating future generations to respect animals is a vital part of the work of World of Owls & Wildlife Rescue N.I. and you are welcome to request a visit.

As a Charity World of Owls & Wildlife Rescue has to generate the resources to cover these visits and donations are greatly appreciated.
