"Spangles" is a White-breasted British Barn Owl who used to live with her owner in Cumbria, having been rescued from a bird auction. Sadly, her saviour became very ill and asked the World Owl Trust to give her a new home. She was given her own aviary, but craved the 'one to one' attention she was used to. When she became frustrated by this, she began to pull out her feathers and would often refuse to eat. World of Owls offered to help by bringing her to our collection and using her for our presentations and displays. As can be seen, it worked, and she is once more her happy, beautiful self.
