All the animals at World of Owls have been rescued from one situation or another.

Most of which from the ignorance of people that buy animals on impulse not realising the effort and expense that goes into looking after them.

Owls do not make for good pets, they are not as intelligent as some people think, they need a lot of patience, food is difficult to obtain not to mention really expensive, they need specialist training and equipment.

Falconry is a recognised sport and can make a good hobby but again all the factors above need to be considered and plenty of £, $, €.
