Wildlife Rescue-NI

Wildlife Rescue (Northern Ireland) is an independent, local organisation that gives advice about sick and injured wild animals. This service is mainly to provide advice when a sick or injured wild animal is reported, however with an ever-increasing volunteer network we may be able to provide hands on assistance.

NO ONE WITHIN WILDLIFE RESCUE IS PAID AND IT IS NOT GOVERNMENT ASSISTED.

It does not deal with pets or domestic animals.
We are a province-wide network of volunteers, as such not all calls can be treated with direct action.

When possible, collection of an injured animal is arranged and it is taken to a specialist carer/rehabilitator or veterinary surgeon. Where appropriate, release back to the wild can also be arranged or assisted.

The work of Wildlife Rescue-NI is subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Order
(Northern Ireland) 1985 and any other applicable legislation.

Wildlife Rescue-NI are licensed and registered rehabilitators.
