Our Apologies

Our Apologies

by OwlAdmin / Saturday, 12 November 2022 / Published in WOO News
Our apologies: Our centre is going through some much needed repairs but it is going slower than we expected.
The pandemic cleaned out our bank account and we got no funding or help from the government.
Our money had to go to the necessary bills and the onset of brexit seen our food costs jump 87% as we cant get our food or supplies delivered from England anymore, unbelievable.
We have some repairs and replacements to do at the moment and the weather also has not been kind, we have been flooded and battered with high winds, which blew most of our signage away.
As we are in a natural NI forest setting its is wet, there is algae and millions of leaves.
If you visit us please remember all this and take into consideration, we are first and foremost a working sanctuary and that we are working on things but they have to be triaged into a manageable financial order. No one is paid and all proceeds go into the centre.
You will notice that the animals are in pristine condition and they come first.
